Sarah is from the UK, the land of tea and crumpets. She obtained her PhD from Imperial College London under the supervision of Joshua Nunn and Ian Walmsley, based in the Ultrafast Quantum Optics group at the University of Oxford. Her research focused on optical quantum memories in warm atomic vapour for use in quantum networks. She joined the group of Pascale Senellart in June 2019 as a post-doc and is working on developing even brighter solid-state single photon sources for use in integrated quantum computing
