After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Physics in the very cool and green city of Jena, I decided to start the international Master of Photonics in Jena as well. Since I really wanted to do two semesters abroad during my studies, I chose to combine them with my Master’s thesis. As it was clear to me that I wanted to specialize in photonic quantum technologies, I decided to join Paris and Pascale Senellart’s research group. Here I am now working on a new QKD approach based on Quantum Dot single photon sources.
