CNRS 2024 Silver medal to Aristide Lemaitre

On February 15, 2024, the CNRS unveiled the 25 Silver Medal winners, including Aristide Lemaitre, Director of Research at the CNRS.

The Silver Medal is awarded to researchers for the originality, quality and importance of their work, recognized both nationally and internationally. On February 15, Aristide Lemaitre , received this prestigeous medal, All the GOSS group congratualtes him warmly!

Aristide LEMAITRE is a CNRS Research Director at the Centre de nanosciences et de nanotechnologies – Physique et ingénierie des matériaux (C2N – Univ. Paris-Saclay/CNRS/Univ. Paris Cité). Over the past 15 years, he has carried out research on ferromagnetic semiconductors, before turning to the study of the growth and physics of topological insulators. Aristide Lemaitre has recognized expertise in the epitaxy of high-fine microcavities for quantum optics applications, such as polariton manipulation, single-photon and photon-pair generation.
